#35 The end of the Me to We journey

The end of this book was very deep and inspiring as well as very truthful.We all have the power to make a change to be the difference that we all wish to have in the world. I personally have a dream of how to help others in small ways as well as large ways. Some ways I have already begun others I am just beginning. I often see others struggle around me I know several people who are suffering through depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and mental illnesses. I believe it is important for e to continue to be their for them and help them through their struggles. This is why I want to be come either a psychologist or a psychiatrist because sometimes people need the help of someone just to listen and show them they are not alone in the world. But before I go to school I want to go on a mission trip to Africa I have been wanting to do this for about 2 years and for the past year I have been trying to convince my parents to allow me to go. I want to do this to get and insight in myself and an insight into the lives of others. I will continue to convince them to let me go because for  me I know in order to discover myself I need to discover others.

#34 Left- Handed Handshake

I believe the left-handed handshake is a major sign in peace. The fact that he had the courage to stand up and shake the man's hand who had cut off his own had must be a lot to bare. He was willing to  forgive him for that which he had done he was willing to show the man the he may have cut off his hand but I do not hold my hate towards you. He showed that sometimes we have to do things we may not want to do for the better and the good others have to encourage peace. If we try and get even we will never succeed in ways that we should.

#33 Mr. Williams

My Mr. Williams is a man I have had the pleasure of knowing my entire life. He has worked hard and become very fortunate he makes quite a bit of money but never forgets what friends and family means. He is always willing to help out friends, family, and even complete strangers whether it be by buying them things they need, sponsoring people in events, as well as just giving out money, and so much more. This man has always been there for others around him, when I was traveling with him when I was a little girl I remember him giving $200 American to two orphans who were around my age because they had tattered clothing and were malnourished. There has been times where I want to go on a leadership trip where he sponsored me and only asked to hear my story when I return. I have seen him give friends of his work because they were going broke. He is such a generous man and he is very close to me.

#32 Lindsay Avner and Run for the Cure

I believe that she did have the right to sulk and be sad her childhood was basically torn away from her and after that you would feel depressed and happiness wouldn't seem to come as easy. But then for her to join that race and decide the running for a cure is amazing that she can make an impact in the lives of others is truly remarkable. Her next response was truly inspirational she changed her fear and sadness into hope, hope that one day she will raise money through youth so that others do not have to give up or give into cancer and that they will be survivors just like her mother is. Her courage and strength is admirable and ispiring.

#31 Viktor Frankl's Words of Wisdom

He says " Life ultimately means taking responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks  which it constantly sets for each individual. Love is the ultimate and highest goal to which man can aspire...The salvation of man is through love and in love." To me Viktor is wrong I do believe that is an important factor in our live but I do not believe  that is what life ultimately means. I do believe in the last of his statement though about love and how love is something powerful and important which all people are capable. However to me life is more then just tasks more then a set list of things one must achieve life is about experience and learning. Every day we are put through challenges put through obstacles which either break us or make us stronger. We all learn through our experiences and we fight through many things but learning how to deal and fight through these challenges teaches us lessons. We do not have a list of things we must do there isn't always a right answer to everything in life but we all learn from problems we face and we gain a purpose in our lives through our struggles. To me life is about the experiences we go through whether there is answer to them or not.

#30 Joe Opatowski

The greatest lesson from Joe's life is that know matter who you are you can decide what your life will be like and you will get the choice of what you are going to do with your life. Anyone is capable of making a change you just have to give them the chance to. Joe was this street kid who didn't look out for anyone else but himself. Then he realized the different he can make in the world that people are facing a lot and he can try and help them out. When he went to Jamaica for example he helped all of these orphans and tried to make them happy and smile in doing this he begame happy himself. He can send the message that anyone no matter who you are can do something for others that you can make an impact in their lives which is very inspiring! You are the person you choose to be and Joe Opatowski learned this and taught this lesson.

#29 Festive fun and all of that

During the Ten Day of Festive Fun and all of that stuff I helped out a fair bit around our school and in our community. At the school I was able to help out with the days of festive fun by participating in those events of others, as well as encourage others to join in the fun and finally I organized my event with Melanie "Decorate a Human Christmas Tree" the event was held in the cafeteria where many participated. As well I was in the evolution of dance Idols act, which although we hit a few bumps in the road was a success! We had to work through difficult situations and try and resolve conflict but it worked out in the end. Finally I was able to volunteer at the Ingersoll Food Bank by donating food and making hampers as well. These are just a few of my contributions.
